Reviews
“Magical! We arrived at Stoni Woods to a light snow on Christmas Eve. It was everything we had hoped it would be and more. From walking through the woods to the lake with our dog, Nellie, to skiing, snowboarding and tubing at Mount Snow, it was a wonderful vacation and a lasting memory for our family. Stoni Woods had everything we needed and the place is just spectacular. Thanks Beth and John!!”

“My family and I spent 4 wonderful days at Beth’s cabin over the Thanksgiving break and it was perfect in every way. From the moment you pull into the driveway you know you’re in for a special experience. We found the home to be extremely neat and clean with ample supplies to make yourself feel cozy and at home. It’s scenic and private but with all the amenities to make you truly enjoy the time away from the city. Thank you Beth for making my first AirBnB experience a painless one! We’re already plotting our return next summer!”

“Beth’s home was exactly what we were looking for in terms of having a beautiful log cabin home space to spend time with good company. The house was great, super clean, homey touches, and overall a wonderful accommodation in Vermont! Lots of kitchen amenities to cook for a full house too! We hope to come back!”

“An awesome atmosphere set in the Vermont woods. Cabin living but with modern amenities. We didn’t even get to experience a lot of the amenities of the house due to the weather, but this is an excellent location with a ton to do. The wood stove is a special gem for the house and heats very quickly. Couldn’t have been happier!”

“Perfection! This cabin is wonderfully designed & furnished -- elegant, comfortable & spotlessly clean. The layout is great for 4 women who want privacy but coziness. Love the deck & screen porch as well. Would definitely book this again!!!”

“Charming and the perfect location! My sister and I decided to gift our parents with a trip to Wilmington because as kids, we used to visit every year as a family. This was the perfect location, just a short walk to a cute beach. The house was the perfect size for 6 adults and a toddler- with room to spare. The house was immaculately clean (and I’m a stickler for cleanliness!). I mean, not a single cobweb to be seen, anywhere! It had all the amenities and charm for the perfect VT stay. The house is just absolutely beautiful. Beth was wonderful to work with and made herself very available for any questions. We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to visit Wilmington once again, especially to such a beautiful home. We hope to come back next year!”

“Great location, beautiful home! We had a great time at Stoni Woods and truly enjoyed Southern VT and all it has to offer. Proximity to the lake is a huge plus and being 5 minutes to downtown Wilmington doesn't hurt either. The host was very responsive and I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking to be close to it all but also enjoy some privacy at the end of the day. Thanks for a wonderful week!”

“Great getaway! We had a great stay here - the house is quite new and impeccably clean and has great charm, everything was thought out well and the owners were very responsive to our questions before our stay. The cottage has great privacy but is only a short drive from the village of Wilmington and a 10 minute drive to the ski slopes. The lake nearby was frozen over during our stay but we were thinking it would make an awesome summer trip to stop up here also as it is nestled in a delightful little valley that is just off the beaten track.”

“Beautiful and comfy house in the woods. We stayed here in 2018 with two families over the February winter break to ski at Mt Snow. The place is new and decorated nicely with comfortable and clean bedding and furniture. It has everything we were looking for to relax after a long day of skiing. The common area allowed for cooking, eating, and hanging out to watch movies or play games. Mt. Snow was an easy 15 min ride up the road and plenty of markets and restaurants in the area. The house is situated at the top of a dirt road in a lake neighborhood, so a 4x4 is highly encouraged, especially if the conditions are right (icy roads or wet soft mud). Otherwise, we loved the place and hope to return in the future.”

“We had a wonderful time at Beth’s place. Absolutely no complaints. Dreamy location on Lake Raponda. It feels secluded but it’s quite close to the village and close to skiing. The house is very clean, well stocked and everything is in working order. We made several big meals over the course of our stay and found everything we needed in the kitchen, including all the basic spices and even many different types of tea. It was cold outside but warm inside. This house holds heat well and there is a humidifier and a kettle on top of the wood burning stove that help to keep the air moist. It’s a great place for a getaway from the city. I would love to come back in the summer months and enjoy the lake. Highly recommended!”

“Had the pleasure of staying in Beth’s home over the thanksgiving weekend and it exceeded all our expectations! While the pictures online are great, it was even better in real life! The home itself, it has buckets of country charm with log fires, working piano, outdoor fire pit and fabulous decking, but as it’s newer home it’s clean, fresh, warm & very well planned out. All bedrooms were lovely, plenty of new linens & towels for guests - great place for family trip or friends weekend away. The kitchen is also dream to cater in, we had intended on dining out more when we were planning the trip, but the house was a pleasure to cook in, with every kitchen utensil, pot & pan you would need. You can tell a lot of thought & consideration has gone into the home. Location wise, it truly is a short drive to the local town, where there is quite the selection of local shops, antiques & local produce (we bought more than we would have expected!) Honestly cannot speak highly enough of the property - great discovery!”

“Thank you Beth for sharing your home with us! We had a group of eight adults and your home was very accommodating and comfortable. The floor plan was well thought out, beautifully designed and conveniently functionable throughout. The kitchen was fully equipped and spacious making cooking with others easy. The cabin is in a superb location with a convenient drive to downtown Wilmington where we had enjoyed an awesome dinner with wonderful service at Cask and Kiln. We stayed the weekend of the Octoberfest festival which was a short drive to Mount Snow. We enjoyed a quick walk/biking to the nearby beach. The home provided a nice quiet and relaxing private yard. We had brought our own towels and blankets, however, the home had plenty. The loft over looking the great room was stunning! The pictures and description of this home well exceeded the beauty and we could not be more happier to have chosen this home to enjoy our weekend stay in Vt!! Hope you will consider renting to us again! We look forward to another enjoyable stay. Thank you again!! Tina”

“We had such a lovely time at your house - it was really exactly the quiet getaway that we were looking for. We could tell that it had been thoughtfully designed for comfort and made easy to enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The kitchen was especially well supplied with every cooking implement we needed for many nights of elaborate meals. We loved spending time at the lake and the friendly ducks were a big bonus for our three year old. We also visited a few of the farms nearby for berry-picking and to pet the animals, another great activity for young ones.”
